Set amongst the olive grove this new holiday home has views across the Mangawhai estaury to the sand dunes and Mangawhai heads. The brief was to provide a simple open plan retreat for the owners to enjoy weekends and holidays. Guest accomodation complete with ensuite is located on the ground floor seperated from the main living/dining/kitchen space to ensure guest privacy. The owners enjoy apartment style living at mid floor level with their bedroom/bathroom being accessed directly off the living/dining/kitchen area, a small split level is created to give a little privacy. The surprise feature of the home is the roof deck which enjoys the sites amazing views and provides a breakout space.
