Set within Queenstown’s elevated alpine landscape, this project responds directly to its dramatic surroundings with a composed architectural form. Dark exterior cladding is paired with a green roof, which helps the building blend into the hillside, softening its silhouette against the horizon. This moody aesthetic continues indoors, where a palette of dark paint, deep-toned cabinetry and rich timber ensures the interior remains visually consistent with the exterior. The dark colour palette provides a grounded atmosphere that contrasts the saturated landscape outside.
